KidsDoc Refund and Cancellation Policy and Reschedule Procedure

1. Introduction

This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which users of KidsDoc, a WhatsApp-based telemedicine platform, can request refunds, cancellations, and reschedules for consultations.

2. Definitions

* Regular Consultation:A consultation booked within the platform’s standard operating hours (9:00 AM to 9:00 PM).

* Emergency Consultation: A consultation requested outside the standard operating hours (9:00 PM to 9:00 AM) with an available on-call doctor in the relevant specialty or choosen an emergency consultation option during regular hours

* Cancellation:Withdrawing a confirmed consultation booking before the scheduled appointment time.

* Reschedule:Changing the timing of a confirmed consultation booking.

3. Refund Policy
3.1 Regular Consultations:

* Full refund:If the platform cancels the consultation due to technical issues or doctor unavailability.

* Partial refund (50%): If the user cancels the consultation within 24 to 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

* No refund:If the user cancels the consultation within 2 hours of the scheduled appointment time or after the consultation has commenced.

3.2 Emergency Consultations:

* Full refund: If the platform cancels the consultation due to technical issues or the required on-call doctor is unavailable.

* No refund: If the user cancels the consultation after it has been confirmed with the available on-call doctor.

4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 Regular Consultations:

* Users can cancel consultations directly through the platform or by contacting customer support.
* The cancellation policy outlined in section 3.1 applies.

4.2 Emergency Consultations:

* Users can only cancel Emergency Consultations by contacting customer support immediately upon the request confirmation.
* The cancellation policy outlined in section 3.2 applies.

5. Reschedule Policy

5.1 Regular Consultations:

* Users can reschedule consultations directly through the platform or by contacting customer support.
* Rescheduling requests submitted more than 2 hours before the original appointment time are usually accommodated based on doctor availability.
* Rescheduling requests submitted within 2 hours of the original appointment time may be subject to a rescheduling fee or doctor availability.

5.2 Emergency Consultations:

Rescheduling Emergency Consultations is not permitted due to their time-sensitive nature.

6. Important Notes

* Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used within 5-7 business days.
* This policy is subject to change at any time without prior notice.
* Users are advised to review this policy regularly for any updates.
